Additional Pay Rise Part of Offer

More than one million NHS staff in England will receive an additional pay raise, the government has announced. The recommended pay deal, which has been recommended by the NHS Staff Council, will be implemented on May 2nd.

The agreement includes a non-consolidated lump sum for 2022-23 in addition to the already-agreed pay rise of 2.5%. The move comes after NHS staff stepped up during the COVID-19 pandemic.
