US Rail Traffic Upticks for July, Early August

The Association of American Railroads (AAR) reported today that rail traffic for July and for the week ending Aug. 3, 2024, was up 3.4% and 5.7%, respectively, from the same periods in 2023.
North American Rail Volume Up 6.5% Through 44 Weeks
The AAR also reported that North American rail volume was up 6.5% through the first 44 weeks of 2024, compared to the same period in 2023.
